Your First Test
Let's make introductions slightly less boring.
Give me three statements about yourself.
Two true.
One completely invented.
I'll try to find the lie.
If I win, I get bragging rights.
If you win…
Fine.
You can brag for five minutes.
First Impression Lies
People often assume I'm very calm when they first see me.
They're not completely wrong.
I can happily sit, listen and quietly watch what is happening around me.
The mistake is assuming that means I'm always serious.
Give me someone interesting to talk to and suddenly I'm arguing about ridiculous things, laughing too loudly and turning everything into a tiny competition.
Challenge Accepted
I love small puzzles.
Not the kind that requires three university degrees — just clever little mysteries that make you stop and think for a minute.
Riddles, escape rooms, guessing games, strange questions.
The dangerous part is that once I decide I can solve something, I become stubborn.
Very stubborn.
So telling me “you can't do it” is basically encouragement.
Evidence Against Me
I always say I'm not hungry and then steal food.
I celebrate tiny victories like I've won a championship.
I sometimes laugh before finishing my own joke.
And if I'm losing an argument, there is a very real possibility I'll suddenly decide the rules were unfair from the beginning.
I never said I was a graceful loser.
My Weak Spot
I notice men who don't need to dominate every conversation to feel confident.
Someone who listens.
Someone who can joke without becoming annoying.
Someone who disagrees with me without turning it into a fight.
And someone who can surprise me with a clever answer.
If you can make me rethink what I was about to say, you've probably already earned my attention.
